I graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a B.A. in multimedia journalism and a minor in general business. My journalism experience includes internships at KTEP, El Paso's local public radio station, and Puente News Collaborative, a nonprofit that covers the U.S.-Mexico border. Currently, I intern at The Dallas Morning News, where I report on local government and politics. I aspire to build a career in multimedia journalism and plan to pursue a Master’s degree in Latin American border studies.
